A Contemporary Green Kitchen
Drawing on sustainable materials: I designed this modern kitchen featuring high efficiency LED lighting, FSC wood cabinets in Zebrawood (ECO),a culinary work center with recycling and compost bins, induction cooking, and recycled glass bar countertop.

An Italian Kitchen and Bath located in the center of Tuscany: This delightful kitchen was just remodeled in an eighteenth century farmhouse in a village called Marlia, just north of Lucca. I arrived just after this project was completed in October, 2004. This is a typical kitchen for the region. The design is "L" shaped with a table and chairs. Most meals are taken in the kitchen. The size may appear small but the materials are of the highest quality and the design is very efficient. A great deal of the food preparation can be done sitting at this table.

The master bath is in the same farmhouse. Note how the ceramic tile is applied with patterns and borders. The charm of the house is apparent in viewing the tiny, shuttered casement in the old thick walls.
