After receiving my bachelors degree in psychology, I began a career in management. I worked in small technology companies, eventually managing the manufacturing for a business unit of GE Medical Systems. In the late 80's I returned to college to study design. After graduating from a three year professional design program, I specialized in the residential remodeling area. I received certification as a "certified kitchen designer" (CKD) from the National Kitchen and Bath Association in 1992. In the past 20 or so years I have worked for construction companies, kitchen and bath dealers, and as an independent designer. In 2009, I received a Meta Award from NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry) for a kitchen project in Cupertino. I recently was named the winner of a 2012 Gold award from NARI for a master bathroom project completed in 2011.

I am a San Carlos resident and work primarily on the peninsula, although I have done projects as far away as Carmel and Napa Valley. I do not have a special style. I believe a good designer should be able to work in any style. As you view some of my work, you will see modern, transitional, rustic, and traditional styles represented - reflecting the tastes of my clients.
